Assisted Stretching

Improve mobility and posture, reduce pain and injury risk.

Assisted stretching sessions provide full body relaxation and recovery. 

After an assessment, I will gently move your body through various positions to get the best possible stretch across all the major muscle groups.  Assisted stretching allows you to stretch in ways that are impossible to achieve on your own.

I use PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching which actively involves you.  I will guide you through the correct breathing techniques as well as when to contract and relax your muscles. This method increases your awareness and connection to your body and leads to longer lasting results. 

I will communicate with you throughout the sessions to make sure we are getting right level of intensity. You will achieve a strong stretch but it will not be painful. 

Benefits can be felt after just one session and with regular sessions you will see marked improvements in your mobility, posture and movement.
